1. Somnath Mahadev
Somnath Jyotirlinga in Saurashtra, Gujarat is considered to be the first Jyotirlinga on this earth. It is said that this Shivling was established by Chandradev himself. It is mentioned in Rigveda. It has been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times so far.
2. Mallikarjuna Mahadev
It is located in Andhra Pradesh on the banks of the Krishna River on a mountain called Srisailam. The importance of this temple is said to be similar to Mount Kailash of Lord Shiva. It is said that a mere sight of this Jyotirlinga frees one from all sins and destroys physical and material heat.
3. Mahakaleshwar Mahadev
This Jyotirlinga is situated on the banks of Kshipra river in Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh. Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is unique in the sense that it is the only South Jyotirlinga. Bhasmarti is famous all over the world. People believe that he is protecting Ujjain.
4. Omkareshwar Mahadev
This Jyotirlinga is situated on the Mandhata mountain on the banks of the Narmada in Madhya Pradesh. It is said that by seeing him one attains Purusharth Chatushtaya. This Jyotirlinga is in the shape of Omkar i.e. Om, hence it is known as Omkareshwar.
5. Kedarnath Mahadev

6. Bhimashankar Mahadev
Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga is situated on a mountain named Sahyadri in Pune district of Maharashtra. Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga is also known as Moteshwar Mahadev. The belief of this temple is that if a devotee visits this temple with faith in the morning after sunrise, then the sins of his seven births are removed.
7. Vishwanath Mahadev
This Shivling is situated in Kashi. Lord Shiva is said to have left the Himalayas and settled here. It is said that the flood did not even affect the town. This is the reason why Kashi is given great importance in all religious places.
8. Trimbakeshwar Mahadev
This Jyotirlinga is located 30 km west of Nashik in Maharashtra near the Godavari River. Nearest to this Jyotirlinga is a mountain called Brahmagiri. Godavari river starts from this mountain. Trimbakeshwar is also one of the names of Lord Shiva.
9. Baijnath Mahadev
This Shivling is located in a district called Dumka in Santhal Pargana of Jharkhand. It is said that the Shivling was being taken to Lanka due to the heat of Ravana, but due to obstruction on the way, Shivji settled here.
10. Rameshwar Mahadev
This Jyotirlinga is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu at a place called Ramnath Puram. Lord Rama is said to have established the Shivling before invading Lanka. This Jyotirlinga is named after Lord Rama as it is established by Lord Rama.
11. Nageshwar Mahadev
This Jyotirlinga is situated at a distance of 17 miles from Dwarkapuri in Gujarat. It is said that this Jyotirlinga was named as per the wish of the Lord. According to belief, whoever comes here for darshan with full devotion and faith, all his wishes are fulfilled.
12. Dhushmeshwar Mahadev
The Jyotirlinga was established at Berul village, 12 km from Daulatabad in the state of Maharashtra. He is also called Dhrineshwar. People from far and wide come here for darshan and attain spiritual peace.
Baba Barfani (Amarnath) Live Darshan
Amarnath is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. This shrine is situated in a mountain cave at an altitude of 18,600 feet from the coast, 12 km northeast of Srinagar city in Jammu and Kashmir. The length (depth inside) of the cave is 16 meters and the width is 12 metres. The cave is 11 meters high. Amarnath cave is one of the major religious places of Lord Shiva. Amarnath is called the pilgrimage of pilgrimages because it was here that Lord Shiva explained the secret of immortality to Parvati.
