An artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating an art. The common usage in both everyday speech and academic discourse refers to a practitioner in the visual arts only. However, the term is also often used in the entertainment business, especially in a business context, for musicians and other performers. Artiste is a variant used in English in this context, but this use has become rare. Use of the term artist to describe writers is valid, but less common, and mostly restricted to contexts like used in criticism.

The paintings of Bhairavi Modi, the only artist of Ahmedabad, have been selected in the art show, which gives a platform to the art of 21 artists of the country. This online art show has started under the initiative of Delhi Art Society. It features modern and contemporary art.
Apart from Delhi and Ahmedabad, the paintings of artists from states like Hyderabad, MP, Rajasthan are also seen in this show. Till now, Delhi Art Society used to show only the paintings of artists from Delhi, but in the corona period, this show has been held online with the aim of allowing art lovers to see art at home.
Painter Bhairavi Modi said that the stories of Panchatantra teach us how even the smallest thing gives us a big message. Today’s time is also the same, if you do not pay attention to small things, you have to suffer serious consequences. The illustrations on the series on these stories are prepared by me.
